How does it work?

• Step 1: Register your camping business using the form. You can enter until 31 December 2026.
• Step 2: ACSI’s expert jury assesses all entries and selects the winner. There is no public vote.
• Step 3: The winner of the Innovation Awards will be announced in spring 2027.

What counts as innovative?

Innovations come in all shapes and sizes. Below, we provide a few examples for each category to give you an idea of the innovations for which you can nominate your camping business for an ACSI Innovation Award.
Guest experience and comfort: for example, smart apps that provide guests with personalised tips based on their preferences, or interactive play areas using augmented reality.

Sustainability: examples include accommodation built from recycled or natural materials, systems that treat and reuse shower water, or green roofs that help keep buildings cool and generate energy.

Technology: for example, fully contactless check-in using facial recognition, AI-powered booking systems that predict peak periods, interactive 3D site maps, or smart sensors that automatically monitor energy and water consumption.

Services and business operations: for example, digital planning tools that automatically optimise staff schedules, real-time feedback systems that allow you to respond immediately to guests’ needs, or data analysis that supports strategic decision-making.
